Dear Technorati
Dear Technorati,
I’m writing this on behalf of my wife. I’m trying to sort out the mess that is the Technorati blog claims. My wife’s blog has authority 1 on Technorati. This can’t possibly be right because in no way it reflects the site’s authority in the real world (the book blogging scene).
So I went ahead and tried to delete the claim and re-claim it, hoping...

The sheer amount of people who strongly believe a walled garden around their computing device is a Good Thing scares me. Almost as much as the legions of people who feel that being watched by CCTV everywhere, getting X-rayed at the airport and having their online life controlled is perfectly fine as well because it ‘makes the world a better place’.
Would anyone here actually PAY for a Tumblr theme?

Ok wow, just wow. So I just read that the World Bank is helping out Haiti by allowing them to not make payments on the $38M debt they have over there. This debt is supposedly 4% of their total foreign debt.
This got me thinking… The total debt is then $950M. And we’re talking about one of the very poorest countries in the world, earthquake or not.
